God has concluded ALL in unbelief….so that He might have mercy upon ALL.
Romans 11:32-33 KJV
(32) For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
(33) O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Both Jews AND Gentiles are both proved that they are under sin.
Romans 3:9-12 KJV
(9) What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
There is none righteous….no, NOT ONE. We have all gone out of the Way and have TOGETHER become unprofitable. The world is still in darkness …in sin…and perishing because of the going out of the Way of His people.
(10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
(11) There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
(12) They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
The earth has BECOME without form and void. His people have not known Him. His people have no knowledge to do good. They have no understanding.
Jeremiah 4:20-23 KJV
(20) Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.
(21) How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?
(22) For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
(23) I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
But God speaks the Light…. Let there be Light. The Son of God is come and has given us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true.
1 John 5:19-21 KJV
(19) And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
(20) And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
(21) Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
The Son is sent by God to speak the Words of God….the Light.
John 3:34-36 KJV
(34) For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
(35) The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
He that believes not the Son shall not see THE life but the wrath of God already abides upon him. We are all perishing…decaying away to the grave for all are under sin already. But if we believe in the words of life and spirit….DOING them, then we shall have life unto the Age in the here and now. Our mortal bodies shall not decay away to the grave as the power of God keeps us standing ….the “resurrection”.
(36) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
All men are turned to destruction so that God can have mercy upon us….and who calls us to RETURN to Him.
Psalms 90:1-17 KJV
(1) A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
(2) Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
(3) Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
(4) For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
In the morning of our mortal lives we are like grass which grows up. We flourish for a time as we spring up. But in the “evening” time of our lives, we are cut down and we wither away to the grave.
(5) Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
(6) In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
This is the “life” of ALL being under sin….being consumed by His anger. By His wrath are we troubled in our mortal bodies…as we perish….withering away.
(7) For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
(8) Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
For ALL our days are passed away in His wrath and we spend our years as tale that is told…very fleeting.
(9) For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
We may live to 70 or if we have strength, until 80 or more. But those later years are one of labor and sorrow…as our decaying bodies give us trouble upon trouble. Then we are cut off from this earth and we fly away as our spirits go back to God who gave them.
(10) The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
We are instructed to number our days so that we may apply our hearts unto His wisdom. We are to fear God and keep His commandments for that is the WHOLE of man….BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT being preserved in keeping His words.
(11) Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
(12) So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
(13) Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
By His mercy does He instruct us so that we may RETURN to Him…and so we may rejoice and be GLAD for ALL of our days. Not just some days ….but ALL….even to the end of our lives. ALL days.
(14) O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
(15) Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
(16) Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
The beauty of our God shall be upon us……as we continue to live and spread His words of life and spirit to this dying, perishing, dark world. Jesus died for the sins of the world also. If we can do what He says, then we can be His representative….His coworker ….in recreating this world by His knowledge…bringing the Light of life to men in Christ Jesus.
(17) And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
