Yet still they come with filthy hands
In sin, they sing their song
They say, “God’s love, He understands
And knows we’re not so strong
A holy life is hard to live
Its benefits are few
We come; that God may yet forgive
The shameful things we do”
Presumption leads the blind to sin
Still lost, they’ll surely die
But how on earth are they to win?
When no one tells them why?
Where ignorance robs salvation’s crown
Complacence, is absurd
The world must see our bridal gown
Must hear God’s truthful word
For Jesus’ bride has come the time
To rise and shake her fist
From stagnancy, she needs to climb
Religion must desist
We’ll dance no more to Satan’s tune
His songs we’ll cease to sing
We’ll see his kingdom come to ruin
When more to Christ we bring
Traditional pomp must see its end
The grave must claim deceit
The knee of pride must come to bend
All falsehood find defeat
The bride must rise from off her pew
Give out, what God has shared
Show all the world she’s born anew
And for her Groom prepared…
