I made this account about an hour ago because I had this talk with my girlfriend last night that REALLY got me searching for answers... Background info: She has had sex a few times. I'm a virgin, but a former porn addict with the occasional temptation slip...
At first, we were talking about abortin, etc. then it moved to the topic about sex. She's a Christian, but not as close as she could be, and I'm a Christian who sins (sometimes more often than not.) She said, "I'm going to be honest... I really love sex. I think it's the best thing ever." I understand that because of what Solomon taught- God wanted it to be that way.... but I'm desparate to wait for marriage. She's the most beautiful girl on earth and I love her a lot, but I need to waitformarriage. As does she. She told me, "I'm very affectionate. I don't just want sex, but I'm easily tempted. If I ever try to push you to have sex with me, resist me. Tell me no." I love that she said that, but with my background of lust and porn... it's very hard. We haven't done anything so far, but how can I make it easier for both of us to not be tempted?
