PRAYING: Clearly the WORD of God (The Bible) states over and over as Christians we pray to God, through the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Each person is to pray directly to the Trinity and clearly states who we do not pray for or too...
*We do not pray to angels. Revelations 22:8-9
*We do not pray for the dead. Luke 16:19-31
*We do not pray to dead or alive saints or people asking them to pray on our behalf or for anything. Deuteronomy 18:11
We do not pray to ANY PERSON in the Bible whether dead or alive other than our Savior--Christ Jesus or the Trinity.
We can ask fellow Christians to directly pray to God for us or to pray with us.
No person in the Bible was to be exalted over Christ and they certainly were not exalted over each other, you or me. Unless you READ the WORD yourself in its entirety other people can lead you astray. First Timothy 2:5 declares, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." "Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them" (Hebrews 7:25). Romans 8:26-27 “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness (this is the Holy Spirit). We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”
However DO NOT take my word for it alone, GO AND READ THE NEW TESTAMENT.
