People are always looking for ways to make their prayers more effective, often including seeking out literature where someone else sells their opinions on the subject. They could probably save some time and money and just stick to what scripture says by first following the Lord's Prayer which covers most everything God considers worthwhile; OR when someone wishes to ask Him a question or request something for somebody they can simply state it and then say 'Thy will be done' (see the Lord's Prayer). It is irrelevant what we think should be a priority. No need to get extravagant and hog Heaven's bandwidth either by drawing it out. He already knows what is in your heart and is not interested in the reasonings of the human mind. We need to spend more time listening in prayer and less time talking.
