praise Him Every Day

“I praise the Lord with heart and soul
I praise His holy name
I praise the day He made me whole
And took away my shame

I praise Him for the truth within
For peace both day and night
For Christ who changed my rags of sin
For robes of Liquid Light

I praise Him for the highs and lows
The smiles and for the tears
For thorns and for The Sharon Rose
Who took my doubts and fears

I praise Him for the gift He gave
His Spirit’s wondrous love
For knowledge I will see no grave
But live with Christ above

I praise Him for the joys of Spring
For blessings night and day
I praise Him for life’s song I sing
I praise him while I may

I praise Him for His living word
For faith through which is won
Eternal will my praise be heard
Of Christ God’s Lamb and Son

I praise Him for the love He gave
Whilst dying on the tree
I praise Him for His grace to save
The likes of you and me

I praise the Lord that I may show
The truth my eyes can see
That through these words the world may know
What Jesus means to me”
