This discussion examines a curricular problem in general within public and private high schools. Presented herein are six known and documented errant points that promote an evolutionary worldview and are commonly found in high school biology textbooks. The purpose of this text is to create an awareness in the reader of these issues as well as provide supplemental data for critical-thinking questions embedded within each chapter for high school students, teachers, education-major students, curriculum developers, and parents. Proposed solutions present questions designed to facilitate formation of the readers’ own views regarding this phenomenon.
