Through life my God I walked as dead
Miserable, lost and blind
Till from the dust You raised my head
And changed my doubtful mind

You’ve let respond to who You are
Respond to things You’ve done
You’ve let me touch The Morning Star
Your living Christ and Son

You’ve let respond to Jesus’ cry
To Heaven’s perfect love
Allowed on eagles’ wings I fly
Accompanied by Your Dove

The facts of life I know too well
You’ve made me wise to sin
Guiding me from my road to hell
Through Heaven’s Lamp within

Now hope is mine with trust restored
With faith as constant guide
I’ve in my mouth a two edged sword
And on the wind I’ll ride

Your glorious love is mine to share
I’ve Jesus’ strength to fight
Respond now to Your servant’s prayer
And shine through me Your Light

Please let new life begin today
Set all my neighbours free
Through me let others find The Way
And learn The Truth to see

I’ve changed my God because of You!

Because through Christ I’ve changed my view
Love’s true response is mine
