The others all hurried over to where Argon called from. Here a small stream of water poured out from among the rocks, and ran on from there, with small plants obscuring it further on. Each took turns to kneel by it and fill their water vessel.

Desirable place for us is in green country there beyond all that dry wilderness ahead. It will be best for us to get up when it is getting dark. We will then be crossing that empty expanse through the night, before the sun would come up again. By then we should find some good spot for resting with enough shelter for us."
