If you won't permit your children to watch certain TV shows, why would permit them to attend schools where the valuse of these immoral shows are encouraged?It should be the most obvious fact on earth, but sadly it is not only unrecongnized, it is even often opposed: If you want your children to become strong in the Lord and develop a mature Christian worldview, then you must seriously consider either a Christian school or homeschool.
Today's public schools are not the same institutions from twenty years ago. Think for a moment. Should you send your child to a school where prayer and Bible reading are forbidden? Should you send your children to schools that promote the homosexual lifestyle, premarital sex and abortions? Honestly, can you expose your children to a secular-oriented education seven hours a day, five days a week, for twelve years and then expect spiritual results? Don't kid yourself into believing that the average public school is okay. Consider this fact: over 90% of all church youth who attend public schools do not continue attending church after high school! Over 90%! We can do a better job. We must!
