Matthew 13:3-9:
And yet now it seems His seed bes springing to life all over Moriah fiercely, so fiercely, so sweetly with fire He seals inside it. His word comes alive in Moriah. and it received its insight from all places, a children's book about these parables, which explained the types of ground even better than Moriah had ever heard it explained to adults.
Usually it reads the stony ground parts as referring to those persecuted for Christ's sake, but the children's book it saw online seemed to indicate it also referred to just undergoing harassments, cruelties, mockeries, and other sundry and assorted mistreatment at the hands of humans, period. That bes where daimonizomai sees its fatal plague spot. How many dark afternoons and tortured nights it has spent in the possessive arms of Satan over human-dealt offenses? It cannot begin to count. How many times have human offenses driven it mad with fury and pain, inexpressible and unutterable anguish and misery and excruciating agony and torment? It cannot remember, more than can be told in one lifetime and done the telling of it well.
One other thing you usually won't hear from the pulpit. The "cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches" barely scratches the surface of the thorns upon the thorny ground. Thorns and thistles, you see, represent negative consequences of sin, consequences that would make you hurt and bleed to be scraped upon and across. These even moreso than the other can choke out the good seed of the Word, by rendering the spirit cynical and therefore the heart skeptical. (Or would that be, rendering the heart cyincal and thereby the spirit skeptical? ) Well either way, it chokes out the sprouting word from fully bearing its delicious fruit. (and note, fruit of the vine = grapes, whats made into New Wine ... Jesus drank the cup of suffering to its very dregs, draining every last drop of the righteous wrath of God against sin, for OUR sakes, so that HE might be crushed and bled out and from His sacred blood would be the NEW Wine of MERCY, grace, truth, peace, compassion. AMEN!!
Oh Lord it does not want to be shallow and stony. It wants to endure for YOUR glory. Please take all the stoniness and hardness out of its heart, and give it a heart that only desires to submit to You and do Your bidding. Please Master, guide and direct Moriah's steps, as You promised. Please let it be commanded by You. Take control and take full possession of this vessel and use it to YOUR glory.
3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
It has heard and read this parable dozens of times but always wondered what sort of "ground" bes it. It did not seem to fit the ill-fated types listed and described but neither could it in honesty claim to have been good ground.20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
