Well I really should get on with writing these it was the main reason that I joined up on line. So what I'm going to talk about is something that comes up and has been coming up lately (more with the young children than older) Is there life on another planet thats perhaps very far from our own? The biggest problem that i have for this is that either arguing for or against this causes a few discrepancies and arguments toward Catholicism and between followers of the catholic religion. If we do entertain the notion that there is life on other planets that are far from us we wonder about the word of God and why there would be no mention of of it in the bible. If we say that there is no other life using the argument (We are the chosen people.) we begin to wonder why God would make (according to scientists, mathematicians,and almost everyone the world over.) Infinite space empty and our life the only to be cherished and discovered. I am just looking for a good middle ground that can be found to stop a few people arguing next Sunday though I tend to lean to the fact that God might have created another group of people for us to find out in the universe.
