Being a fisherman and hunter and an overall outdoors freak, i am often awake in a tree, or on a bank when the warmth of the earth's sun is not yet my provision.
At times, I feel a shiver. I pray, always silently of course, and i am warmed.
Surely I know that the temperature is no higher, nor has the wind ceased. The elements are unchanged. But still my blood carries the purest warmth through it.
Some have called it mind over matter. I know it as the warmth of the SON!
The Son warms our hearts, before Him we were cold.
The Son dries our spirits, before Him we were wet and shivered.
The Son shines His rays of favor upon men who heed Him, before Him we struggled.
Oh, Lord God ALmighty,
This day, Lord, I give thanks for the warmth of your Son. For the patience that is of Him.
For the mercy that is of Him, For the Salvation and Redemption that is from Him!
How Lord, can I ask or want for anything else.
Thank God ALmighty today and everyday for the warmest Son.
