Well. So I went to the doctor in May. Found out I had an ovarian cyst. Went back in July, but to a diff doctor, and she said it was nothing to worry about, just something that happens naturally. My numbers are normal, it's not cancer or PCOS, and it doesn't affect my ability to have children. But... I will have the pain pretty much every month until I hit menopause and stop ovulating. BUT IT HURTS!!!! Even if it isn't anything to worry about, I'd really like something to take the pain away permanently!
When talking to my doctor, we explored the idea of birth control. IDK exactly how it would work, but it would stop me from having such extreme pain. The downside: the pills are very likely to increase my migraines. Not to mention the fact that I'm scared of the effects BC would have on my reproductive ability...
As of now, the doctor said she won't put me on the pill yet. She gave me loritabs, which really won't help me at the moment b/c I have to take them when I can actually have time to sleep. I'm sure a drug-induced coma while at work would look really good to the employers.
Work starts in 1/2 an hour, and the pain is intensifying. I took 3 ibuprofens about 40 min ago, and they haven't taken affect. Grrrrrrrrr.... I wish that it would all just go away!
