Not Long Now.....

Shortly this world we’ll leave below
We’ll rise and dwell the new
Leaving behind the filth we know
The foolishness we knew

For by God’s grace The Truth is ours
We’ve love beyond compare
Through Jesus’ blood tremendous powers
Eternal life to share

We live by faith and not by sight
We trust in Heaven’s Word
We’ll soon receive with robes of white
What no one’s seen or heard

Through wisdom in our Saviour’s hand
His knowledge now we trust
His promises will always stand
When all else turns to dust

Soon far beyond world suffering cares
We’ll join the mighty throng
In answer to our heartfelt prayers
We’ll sing the victor’s song

We’ll see the rest Salvation’s kissed
Those blessed by David’s Root
We’ll see The Tree that Adam missed
We’ll eat life’s wondrous fruit

When death has bent its feeble knee
The dead will rise up whole
The lame will walk, the blind will see
Perfect in heart and soul

We’ll see our Saviour’s smiling face
Within the realm of light
As Groom and bride we’ll take our place
Where everything is right.....
