Not Just Words.....

God’s Kingdom’s not of tales we hear
Of clichés we repeat
But selfless love through Godly fear
Serving at Jesus’ feet

Failure is not a neighbour’s fault
Nor any the foe we fight
But how we live sprinkled with salt
Dividing Heaven’s light

Spending ourselves on soles still lost
Offering selfless love
Giving our all counting no cost
Paving The Way above

God’s Kingdom’s found on bended knees
Through faith in Jesus Christ
When Truth we seek when God we please
When self we’ve sacrificed

When holding fast to Heaven’s plough
Revealing love and care
Planting good seed and showing how
The lost can gain life’s share

When self to Christ we truly give
We set more captives free
More dead can rise can learn to live
And teach the blind to see

Till born again till Heaven bound
Endless God’s praise to sing
Helping others to holy ground
Though Jesus Christ our King

What less would God now have us do?
Since life is yours and mine
Since drinking of The Morning Dew
Grafted in Heaven’s Vine.....
