I am sitting here wasting the moment thinking about the past, the present and the future. It is always strange to be thinking such things but I realise now, more than ever, that I see God's hand at work in my life. It is easy when we look back on how our life has changed to see God's work but to be able to see it in the moment is an awesome exerience.
There is a song that reflects this feeling and it has just come to mind. She (I am not sure her name at the moment) sings that the clouds have parted and she can finally see clearly what she just didn't know. Of course I am paraphrasing here but I just love the message that is floating through my head. That God has never let me go. He has never lost sight of me even though I have lost sight of Him many times.
The New Year is always a great time to reflect on the past, present and future. As I go to rest and reflect I know that I have a hope beyond all measure that God has been and will continue to be good to me.
