The giant percher told Hillariah, "This may be the same kind you have known elsewhere. There are others of another kind some among us know of, that are also predatory, far off to the other side of the great forest beyond us, but this kind I told you of is the only kind that are, besides some creatures here eating the small crawling ones."
Hillariah said, "Thank you for the communication made possible and for letting me know these things, that others with me should hear, that I would let know. And there are other creatures here that I might understand this way, as I understand what you say?"
"Yes, there will be a great number of others, even the bigwalkers but then you might be too close to them. Of course others of my kind would be understood, too. Many of them are enabled to understand other creatures including you this way, but many others are not, and I am only just now."
Hillariah soon went from there to tell others in this new camp where they were making a place to stay about these things she had learned.
