Have you ever been to Negative?
Have you seen his foolish pride?
Where peace and joy you went to give
Was lightly cast aside?
Did you find your smile was strange to him?
That gloom’s his faithful bride?
His house was cold, so sad and dim?
As though someone had died?
At this; he’d groan, at that; he’d cry
He seemed to moan at will
To light, he’s always rather shy
And to the truth; quite still
Instead of high, he’s always low
Negative, night and day
Yet positive; when saying no
When yes; he ought to say
But how can change be brought to him?
That joy may dwell inside?
Who can brighten what is dim?
Just who can turn the tide?
Who can move his heart of stone?
Who can dry the tears?
Who can stop his constant moan?
Who can remove his fears?
The bible says that no one can
Except The Lord above
Nothing on earth can change a man
But faith in Jesus’ love
The faith that Christ died once for all
The love, to set man free!
The faith, Christ rose that none should fall
The love, for you and me…
