Yes Jesus is alive! I met Him through the Holy Spirit, I met the Holy Spirit through the blood of Jesus the Son. It happened on February 7, 2011.
I had been praying to receive the Holy Spirit. Did you know you need to Ask before you can receive? Up until then I had only been asking for the obvious things such as forgiveness, health, the will of God, etc. I don't believe I ever asked to receive the Holy Spirit before.
Matthew 7:8
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
So once I learned that you have to ask to receive the Holy Spirit, I prayed to receive the Holy Spirit for one month before I finally received. On top of that I fasted once in a while. I'm not saying you have to but I was very hungry and thirsty for the Holy Spirit and I personally believe that you have to be in order to receive but God is the judge of that. I also believe you have to be truly repentant, confessing and forsaking that which is sinful.
Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
This is the prayer that I said.
Lord Jesus Christ,
I believe that you’re the Son of God and that you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I trust you for forgiveness and for cleansing. I believe you have received me as a child of God and because you have received me, I receive myself as a child of God. If there’s any resentment in my heart now any unforgiveness against anyone I lay it down I forgive every other person as I would have God forgive me. If I have ever been involved in the occult, I acknowledge that as a sin I ask your forgiveness and I loose myself now from every contact with Satan and with occult power in the name of Jesus, and now Lord Jesus I come to you as my baptizer in the Holy Spirit. I present to you my body to be a temple of your spirit I yield to you my tongue to be an instrument of righteousness. To worship you in a new language By faith I receive this now and I thank you for it in the name of Jesus. Amen
After saying the prayer, I acted out my faith in receiving by actually opening my mouth to drink in the invisible Spirit of God.
John 7:37
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
Then I said hallejuah over and over again until suddenly a loud rushing noise came and my tongue wobbled and was loosed and I cried out and began to speak in tongues. I didn't understand it at the time but I believe when I was crying out that something evil was cast out from me.
Mark 1:26
And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
I never knew I needed to be delivered from an evil spirit. All those times I said the Lord's prayer about 'deliver me from evil', I never thought about it this way before.
It makes me wonder how many others need to be delivered and don't even realise it and they need help. One thing I know for certain is that I believe God wants me to tell as many people as possible about my experience.
Praise God, Glory to God, I give Him the thanks and I give Him the glory
