I posted this on the IJWTS thread in the Singles forum, but it was pretty much a blog post as well, so I figured I would put it here to.
IJWTS~ My weekend went alright. Had a dentist appt thurs and the guy said he couldn't find anything wrong. Slept at a rest stop thurs night (to save a little money), but it was so cold, and I had forgotten to grab my blanket before I left, that I ended up staying up most of the night trying to stay warm. Friday I made the short trip to my friend's house and I got to spend like 5 hours with her at her church working the garden with a couple other people. It was really nice being able to volunteer together. Well, she works as an intern there and gets paid a little, and I was volunteering that day, but ya know (and we're just friends, for anyone getting any thoughts in their head). After that, I was able to get some stuff done at my nearby college, and then I headed to the nudist park. Again, I was hoping that some people I knew would show up so that I could ask them for a blanket, but I didn't see them come in, and so I couldn't sleep because it was so cold again Friday night, so I went to the hot tub to stay warm, and I stayed there until about 6am when I figured the sun was up a bit so it might warm up. But I didn't really like any sleep when I went back, because my cell phone didn't get charged and died and so I was afraid I wouldn't wake back up to enjoy the day without my alarm clock. And then I locked my keys in my car on accident in the morning, but thankfully one guy was there that worked on car bodies, and another guy that worked on car windows, so they were able to use a coat hanger and grab my door handle from the inside with it and pop my door open. Otherwise AAA would have had a real experience having to come out to unlock my car for me. lol.
But there was a lot of good stuff that happened as well. My social nudist group made breakfast, so I was able to get a nice hot breakfast with eggs and potatos and toast and stuff Saturday morning. And I got bodypainted by a guy that likes to paint, and he painted an ocean scene on my back with a tiki hut in it. And I got to socialize with a few people around my age and got some contact info to stay in touch. And of course played volleyball, and swam, and did a little non-woods hiking. And they hired this guy to come in who does bongo drum type performances, and he brought like 20 drums for people to play around the campfire together, and so he went through a couple different beats and types of songs with us. It was a decent weekend. And I think I actually applied enough sunscreen this time to not really get burnt, though it feels like I may have very mildly.
Hopefully next weekend I'll be able to make the World Record Skinny-Dip attempt.
