My first Blog

Well, my name is Simone. I live in New York, and God has come into my life last August and showed me his way.

I always said I was a christian before that, being a Baptist through my family (mom's Korean Baptist, Dad's Southern Baptist) and that's how I was raised.

But as I write to you, I write as a Christian, one who is living for god, and letting him fill my life.

My father lost faith after my grandfather passed away when he was thirteen, and my mother just grew up that way.

My younger sister reads her bibles, but she's at that age where she doesn't seem to really understand what god's word is truly saying.

Anyways.

I went to Kingdom Bound last August at Darien Lake, I just thought I was going to see Skillet, RED and Super chick, and the rides, because Darien lake is six flags, but I truly saw god's light.

Since then, I've quit smoking, though it took a while before I really asked god for him to help me on this. I've felt god's light everywhere.

In the smallest things, I just saw the blessings. In all honesty, he's the reason why I am here today.

I like to say; God made me, Jesus Saved me.

And it is true.

People ask why I love god so much, and in all honesty, their is so many reasons, but if I told you every single reason as to why, well, you'd probably just close out of this.

Anyways, here's a couple reasons why:

I don't know anyone in the world who would give their only son to die for me. To die for every single sin I have ever committed and will commit.

He has simply filled my world with happiness, sometimes things bad happen, but honestly, it's a way of god taking the bad things satan do to us, and makes them tests of our faith to him, and so far, I think I've done a pretty good job on staying faithful.

And the one most of all, his love is ever lasting, no matter what I have done, what I am doing, or what I will do, he will love me, uncondtionally, and guide me through life before I leave to his kingdom, to join him.
