Daily devotions
Dear Lord. Thank you for another great day of life. Please forgive me of my sins that are many. Well not many since the morning is barely starting. Help me throughout the day to be your witness. Lord, I want to learn more about you. I want to apply more your word in my life. Bless this time of devotions and please talk to me with your words....in Jesuscrhrist I pray Amen.
Reading for today: Ephesians 1-3
Chapter 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus.
I learned that God's will has everything to do with our lives. I need to learn not to ignore God's will.
God's will for my life is to obey no matter what situations I might face. I became I christian because it was the will of God. I go to church because it is the will of God. I need to witness because it is the will God. I need to do everything according to God's will.
Chapter 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. I thank God for what he has done. I thank Jesus for taking my place in the cross and dying for me. If that wouldn't have happen, I'd die in my sins and this life would be without meaning. My daily life would be boring. Forgive me Lord for not really witnessing and help me Lord to get up and fight that good fight.
Chapter 1:11
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of own will.
Everything in my life has a purpose. The way I see my should be how God' sees it. My vision should be placed on what God sees in me. I know that God has something great for me, but I need to place myself where God is making blessings rain.
Chapter 1:12
My life should glorify God. But sometimes it doesnt. Yesterday I didn't glorified God because I didn't went to church because of my ill actions. I was cooking that was why I didnt made it. But I would've if I would have cooked earlier. I need to change what I do and change the time that I do things....
Chapter 1:13
I should act, live has God owns me and that He does owns me. I putting myself in situations that will jeopardize my testimony with my fellow brethren at my church. I need to really act as a real christian and be responsible for what I do and dont do.I should act like God owns me because I have been sealed with the Holy Spirit. I need to change my attitude, the way I see life, my life.
Chapter 1:17
I really need that godly wisdom. It seems that the way I live my life is not according to God's will. Lord, please give wisdom that surpasses modern minds. Help me to achieve what you have planned.
Help me to deal with my life with christian methods...
Chapter 1:18
I need God's understanding in my life. My mind should be enlighten with God's understanding. What I need to learn is to always do God's will, because face it; we always don't do what God wants us to do
Chapter 2:1
Before Christ came into my life, I was heading towards eternal damnation. My life was done for. I was living a normal life as a teenager. I was not a parties teen or rebellious, I was normal. Minding my own business, I even had a girlfriend. But still, I was heading to hell because sins will take u there. But thankfully, someone witnessed to me and I got saved. The blood that was shed on calvary cleaned my heart of sins and now, I'm heading to Heaven.
Chapter 2:8
By grace I'm saved from that eternal fire that is hell. Saved from the lake of fire.
Chapter 2:10
I should walk in God's will and if I don't I would be disobeying God. Everything in the bible is for our understanding. I need more lectures and more discipline.
Chapter 2:14
My bible tells me that My Saviour is my peace. When I fall in desperation state, I should call upon the Lord to deliver me from my hands and unto His. I really need more peace I my life than worries.
Chapter 3:1-7
Good thing that this is no longer a mystery. We have been saved and that was the mystery even before when Christ died for us.
Chapter 3:16
my strengths are nothing compared to those of God. I need to rely in the strength of my Lord.
