We all in chains were tightly bound
As slaves to sin and shame
Banned from entering holy ground
Cursed to eternal flame
Though Jesus paid to make us loose
Through Jesus stripes we’re healed
But untried faith’s of little use
If souls remain unsealed
Through The Spirit we come alive
We’ve strength to serve as planned
But who can stand live and thrive
Failing to understand
Obedience leads to Heaven’s shore
Through faith we’ve eyes to see
Prayer will guide to The Father’s door
Where love is entry’s key
Love is far more than just a word
When Fire burns deep inside
But one should practice what we’ve heard
For God to open wide
Knowing one’s heart one’s soul one’s mind
Knowing each secret thought
Though man may say that love is blind
God sees each true report
For every deed we must account
Where truth alone can reign
Where none may scale God’s sacred mount
With wrinkle spot or stain
The option stands, the time is now!
Before we reach that place
We must repent, our knees must bow
