Monsters do exist. Although, they don't have sharp teeth or claws. Instead, they descend from very dark clouds. They destroy everything they touch. They even kill people. These monsters can grow to be 2 and a half miles wide.
The first monster I would like to talk about affected the towns of Moore, Bridge Creek and Norman Oklahoma on May 3, 1999. This monster was a half mile wide. It had the fastest winds ever recorded on the planet at 301 MPH +/-20 MPH. It caused over 1 billion dollars in damage and killed 38 people. The winds in this beast were so strong, that they tore the asphalt of roads off the ground.
The second monster I want to talk about affected Greensburg Kansas on May 4, 2007. This giant was 1.7 miles wide. It was accompanied by three other monsters of EF2-EF3 rating. This leviathan had wind speeds of 205 miles per hour. It destroyed 95% of Greensburg Kansas and killed eleven people.
The third monster I want to talk about destroyed 7,500 buildings in Joplin Missouri. It killed 162 people and had wind speeds over 200 miles per hour. This gargantuan grew to 3/4 of a mile to a mile wide.
The fourth and final monster I want to talk about affected areas of northeast Missouri, southern Illinois and southwestern Indiana.
This creature of doom killed 695 people and caused 16.5 billion dollars in damage.
