In Truth God came as man to earth
Choosing from Heaven’s throne
A virgin maid through which He’d birth
The Son He’d call His own
The Lord revealed His master plan
His secret veiled so long
Although Lord God He lived as man
Singing life’s righteous song
He came, to show The Way to live
He came man’s soul to free
As Heaven’s Word He died to give
The Truth about the tree
As man! The Lord bore so much pain
Upon that dreadful cross
Many believe His death in vain
Who fail and suffer loss
As Lamb God spoke of hell and fire
The end of sin and shame
Where hate, where pride, where self desire
Will burn and curse His name
Christ warned of this and so much more
When Noah’s days return
To life and love He’ll close the door
On those condemned to burn
The Truth is here the time is now
Believe and understand
Only who’s knees to Christ now bow
Will see The Promised Land
But as before, remains today
Speaking of love and wrath
People just turn and walk away
