3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1

This is TRUE. It seems that the love that God sheds abroad in our hearts enables us to do this.....it seems to also be tied in to realizing that we are sorta' "all in this together".....God enables me to see the faults and failings of others and tie them into my own weaknesses and failings...and then i just realize how very much we ALL need prayer, and i can more easily see past the faults, and see the "need" that they and i have for our Father's grace, and then i'm able to more easily pray for them from the heart. Reminds me of the quote to remember to be kind because we are all fighting a hard battle.

Mr. O, as I read your posts, I find that you are a man after mine own heart. I like the version of the Bible you use here as well. On this particular post, in the first line there is a typo; "live" should be "life." In the next line having "Because" capitalized is distracting to me. Do you really want it that way? Again, I appreciate what you write here, and so many other places. Thank you for all you share. May God keep blessing you richly, and blessing us through you as well.

Very good. It is in fact how we love others that shows we how much we love God. That is why in 1 John we read only one "great commandment" to love each other. Because if we do not love those we can see, we cannot love God whom we can't see.
