Love Is The Way

Why can’t the world find life’s true way?
Why can’t she flee her fate?
Why do her children always stray?
Why are they full of hate?

The bible tells the truth so plain
The word of God’s quite clear
She’ll witness death she’ll feel much pain
When failing God to fear

God of Heaven and God of earth
God of eternal light
The God who brought the world to birth
The God who gives her sight

Most eyes can see beyond the veil
No longer is she blind
But still the way she’s bound to fail
If love she cannot find

Love is the way, life’s only course
Love through Christ conceived
With Jesus Christ as one true source
God’s gift of life’s received

With love, the truth is easily found
With love life’s way’s revealed
Death can only keep us bound
If to it’s will we yield

There is a way for man to live
For death to find defeat
The devil’s strength is what we give
He rules through sheer deceit

Resist his ploys each wayward snare
Refuse to walk his path
Reveal God’s love His tender care
And flee the coming wrath
