I never met a lesbian in my days as unbeliever. I am yet to meet a lesbian in counseling even now as a pastor. But do lesbians, the people God is describing in the above scripture, exist? Yes. Do they go to church? Yes. Are they born again Christians? Yes, some of them are born again.
A friend once told me a story about some lesbians who live in the same compound with him and how he detest and put them at arm’s length. I am sure a lot of Christians will react like my friend if they knew one too. The three lesbian ladies in my friend’s compound each stay with their respective elder brothers. They attend one church or the other and participate regularly in devotion every morning with their relations. The activities of these girls came to the open one day, when a wife to one of the elder brother caught two of the ladies doing the abominable things.
My friend hoped that after the disgrace they would stop, but he was mistaken. God showed him how the activities of these women have brought a heavy aura of wickedness and evil in the entire compound. My friend continued to pray but to no avail. Love, I counseled my friend, is the only weapon that can empower him to help the ladies.
He was only transferring his hatred for the demon of lesbianism to those ladies. This is what Satan wants to achieve so that deliverance and salvation could be hindered from flowing to them through him. I further counseled my friend to engage those demons of lesbianism in a power encounter by inviting the ladies one after the other for a friendly chat. I gave him a step by step procedure, informed him of the existence of multiple personality in each of those ladies and how to handle the situation. I told him to take up the male of the three lesbian ladies as I felt the strongman controlling them must be resident in her.
As at the time of going to the press, the lady acting as the male is already born again to the glory of the Lord. My friend was so excited when he was sharing the testimony. However, the battle just began. My friend informed me that since the conversion of the male lesbian, the other two have been very unfriendly towards him for taking away their lover and introducing her to a better way of life.
I have also counseled him to isolate the female lesbian that looks stronger for the next encounter. This is necessary and urgent to avoid the transfer of the male lesbian demon personality to her. If that happens, they will become comfortable again and continue where they left off with our now born again sister.
