Look To The Cross.....

Through faith, we’ve hope with love and care
The Father’s face to see
Christ pulled the plug on life’s despair
Whilst nailed upon the tree

He did it all He paid the price
Christ paved The Way on high
Believers in love’s true sacrifice
Will live, never to die

Through hope through faith that’s not our own
Through love and tender care
Through Jesus’ gifts to flesh and bone
God gives the world to share

Through sinless blood that drenched the earth
Through Jesus’ death and pain
God shows what selfless life is worth
To those who’d live in vain

Look to the cross, each tortured hand
Look to those feet of old
Look to the thorns and understand
The truth prophets foretold

Christ knew of this ere time began
He knew man’s wayward path
And still He died for mortal man
To rescue from the wrath

Believe in what the cross would tell
Believe in selfless love
The dye is cast for death and hell
Who’s faith’s in Christ above

The devil’s hand can’t hold, nor bar
When Heaven’s will is done
When looking to The Morning Star
When faith is in God’s Son.....
