Who through Heaven’s door will scale?
Who’s seeking every day?
Who’ll rise, who’ll shine though often, fail?
Walking Salvation’s Way
On life, we need to place our mind
Future, present and past
Quit walking, deaf lost and blind
Waving standards half mast
To self, we need to look within
Our shameful soul review
Get rid of self, each cause of sin
Seeking life anew
A covenant, we first must make
God and sinners the same
That truly, there’ll be no mistake
In Jesus’ holy name
The Holy Ghost sinners will need
Witness to our story
Growing, through Heaven’s righteous Seed
To rise up in glory
Revealing when one’s right or wrong
From birth unto the grave
In truth ensuring we belong
To He who died to save
One’s aching heart, one’s precious soul
Lives broken asunder
To feed us, teach us to making whole
While fools doubt and wonder
Faithful higher ever scaling
Ever deeper, in love
Jesus’ hand will hinder failing
Till safe and sound above…..
