What is the purpose of living?
If life is lived in vain
Rejecting the love You’re giving
And He who’ll come to reign
We need to eat Your living Word
Believe He walked the earth
Accept what fools believe absurd
And live, through second birth
Witness what only few have seen
What mere children hear
Our heart and soul grow quick and clean
For God alone to fear
Not as the world or sinful man
Not as lost souls astray
But as a part of Heaven’s plan
Living life’s narrow Way
By grace we’ll walk and live to Christ
By grace, through service true
Recalling all He sacrificed
That we may join the few
One’s more than blessed, these things to see
Honoured, The Truth to hear
Privileged, to walk so rich and free
With Heaven always near
For Jesus lives loving to give
He lives, that souls may thrive
That we in Him may also live
Eternally alive
With all the saints who’ve gone before
The Patriarchs of old
We’ll walk dear God through Heaven’s Door
Just as You’ve always told….
