My three year old, Naomi, is so funny. She is starting to be so independent. I have a hard time getting her to let me assist in anything these days. I have to make her let me rebrush her teeth...to make sure they are clean. Now, she can open the fridge. She HAS to get the milk out and take the lid off before I pour it...and she HAS to put the lid back on it and put it away, and close the door. Today, it took me a good few minutes to explain why she could not take a brand new gallon out by herself.
She is at a really fun age. Today, we were laying on the floor playing with Bouka (who my hubby wants me to re-home, he is not a ferret fan). I had my camera and she wanted to take some pics. So, she went to go take a pic of me, I taught her how to aim the camera. But the button to snap the shot is on the right side of the camera and she is left handed. So, she would get it where she wanted, where she could see me good on the LCD screen...then she would turn the camera around and hit the snap button with her left hand. Then, she would look at the picture she just took of herself and say that she did a good job. She is so amazing. I just wanted to jot this down so that I don't ever forget that moment.
