Listen.....

The universe so vast and grand
The things we fail to see
Are made and held by Jesus’ hand
At Heaven’s royal decree

Flowing fresh as a mountain stream
Life’s Truth runs far and deep
But till it reigns in hearts supreme
The world stays blind asleep

God shows quite clear what man should do
To hear His guiding voice
At least those saved those born anew
Who’s hearts in Christ rejoice

The Lord won’t keep His children blind
But gives them ears to hear
Quietly speaking in the mind
And often loud and clear

For Jesus lives; God’s fit and well
Although the world’s in doubt
God keeps His children free from hell
Showing what life’s about

Showing this life, is not for gain
Showing the church His plan
Cleansing sinners of spot and stain
By showing that He can

Though all the world’s festooned with sin
Life’s facts are plain in sight
She fails to bid the voice within
So fails to see The Light

Yet those who make God’s Son their choice
Who seek The Lord’s desire
Heaven will guide through Jesus’ voice
And cleanse our souls in fire.....
