Lifes Dream Is Real

To be like Christ must be our aim
Must be our driving force
To save us from eternal flame
And keep our souls on course

Salvation’s found at Jesus’ feet
Beneath that awesome tree
Able to make a child complete
Who’s faith will set them free

So like God’s Son in every way
Is what we’ll seek to be
And through His counsel night and day
The truth of self we see

Believing Jesus’ true report
Accepting facts first hand
The inner man is truly taught
And learns to understand

Obedience is the way on high
Humility and love
When finally self has learned to die
We’ll see the way above

Through grace of God’s and Jesus’ life
Obedient to the last
Bonds we’ll sever with love’s sharp knife
While Satan’s dye is cast

The devil’s lot is more than sure
Hell’s pit and fire awaits
But we who death of self endure
Will enter Heaven’s Gates

When pleasing God becomes our goal
Life’s object most supreme
Obtaining refuge for our soul
Is more than just a dream
