Written the world to fool
But life to those who’ll not just look
But let The Author rule
To love, to guide, nurture with care
Strengthen from inside out
To feed the starving everywhere
Healing the soul of doubt
Till righteousness becomes our song
Life’s book tells every age
Yet most stil read what’s right and wrong
Then quickly turn the page
Printing this life’s a game to play
We learn to push and shove
Skipping pages of judgement day
To read the ones on love
Depraved, we ponder novel vice
We seek for self, alone!
The Author though demands a price
Life’s book is not our own
Page SIN, is not the final word
God’s TRUTH is duly sent
Salvation can be read and heard
By those who would repent
The Publisher, prints night and day
His word’s an open door
Life’s Author once was sent away
To write His books no more
But none could keep The Author down
Almighty is His Pen
He won life’s prized eternal crown
And writes The Truth again…
