Life part 3
As I write this, I find that I cannot hold back the tears, for I really did love my Uncle and really had the best of intentions for my talks with him. At the funeral, I was told that not only was he attending church and was saved, but he was also speaking often in front of the congregation. Was stilling holding his job and was even trying to patch his relationship with his only daughter. Now, I thank God that he is now with Him. But I feel like I was robbed of a brother in Christ that I really looked forward to meeting. I cannot imagine what kind of a grip drugs can have on us and our lives. I know that I smoked for about 10 years and it was really hard kicking that habit. But I cannot imagine how hard it is to kick something that is 100 times more addictive like heroin. Thank God once you accept His Son, you don't lose your salvation over a few bad choices. God knows that we are going to do bad things, but Jesus paid the price for us by hanging on the cross. So whoever believe in him will have life everlasting. I look forward to seeing Dennis again and I imagine that once you move on to heaven that you pretty much understand everything that has and will happen, so there will be no explaining, just fellowship with God and creation. I hope to see you there also.
till then, God Bless
