My name is Beca. I live with my husband, two of my daughters, and two of my grandchildren, who are just toddlers. We live in a single wide, two bedroom mobile home. I work as a para-educator at our local school, and as of next year my working hours are going to be cut. My husband is an auto-body painter. As of now my husband and I just make enough to support all of us, barely. As you can imagine though, it is very difficult to fit all six of us into a two bedroom mobile home. My daughters share the pull out bed in the living room, my oldest grandchild sleeps in the 8' by 6' bedroom that use to be my youngest daughter's room, and my youngest grandchild sleeps in my husband and I's room, in a playpen.
For the past few years my husband and I have been trying to figure out how to either enlarge our house or buy a new house, but we have not been financially able to do either. My youngest daughter, you see, has a physical disability called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. She is in a wheelchair quite frequently, but do to the lack of space, she never has been able to get to her previously occupied room or the bathroom. A few years ago she fell while walking and dislocated her left knee out backwards, and we discovered that the stretcher to get her out of the house and into the ambulance, would not fit down our hall. If she were to fall again in the bedroom/bathroom portion of our house, EMTs have to manuever her out to the ambulance, which can make for a difficult and painful process for my daughter. Now with the extra bodies in our house, we have been trying to think of every possible way to achieve either goal just that much more. My eldest daughter staying with us, has been trying to find work to help with finances, but so far there has been no luck. I'm not here asking for money, I simply need advise and guidance as to extra legitimate income. I'M GOING CRAZY!! PLEASE HELP IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE!!!! Please pray that God will send someone to help us.
