Mind you as you read this I have nothing against todays gospel music. I just think we should not have removed hymnals from the churches. Proverbs 22:28 "Remove not the landmarks left by your fathers". Those songs as well as the song wroters are our landmarks of faith. Songs such as "Oh for a thousand tongues",Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus","Blessed Assurance" and "Amazing Grace". They are testimonies and songs of hope and praise left by our forefathers in faith. I am not saying we need to revert back to those only,but leave them in the church so that those who follow us see the landmarks and can follow the trail.
