I miss Scott.
I'm bored out of my mind at work, and hyped up on caffeine cause I didn't sleep enough last night and pseudoephedrine from my allergy pills. I've run out of things to do on the internet, aside from playing Mah Jong, which I'm pretty sick of.
This morning on the way to work I noticed that the big factory building next to the one where I work had just been recently covered ALL the way around by a really nice professionally done graffiti mural. So I took the time to take some pictures of the side I was on, and on my lunch break I took more of the other 2 sides, later on my last break I'll take pics of the back of the building once the sun is on that side later. I took a picture of an artist working on the back as well.
My parents are going broke between bills and waiting for my dad to get paid (he's a freelance translator) so they asked me to transfer them some money, but it's just as well because I owe them a lot of money and I haven't gotten around to paying it back for a while now. My rent can wait a few weeks lol.
I spent the long weekend at Scott's place in Rez (the John Abbott College residence), I went straight to his place after work on Friday. We spent the weekend bumming around his apartment, napping, watching movies and playing games. We did actually venture outside twice, on Sunday evening we met up with my friend Tiffany at Subway to have dinner, then she left and me and Scott went down to the pier to watch the sunset. It's a beautiful place to watch the sunset, the pier goes out about half a kilometer into the water, so you're surrounded by water with just a few islands off in the distance. There were lots of people, especially right at the end, so we sat down on the edge in the middle to enjoy the view. I took some nice pictures as well that I'll post up on Deviantart tonight if I have time. After we got back Scott went to watch a movie with the other RA's and I went to bed. I couldn't sleep till about 3am after he got back though.
Yesterday we slept in till about noon and then bummed around doing nothing much all afternoon, then at around 4pm I gathered up a few people and we all went to eat at Cunningham's. It was nice, but I didn't like the beer sauce they made the steak and kidney pie with
Afterwards we all walked back to Rez and split up, and me and Scott spent the rest of the evening hanging out in his room. I had originally planned to leave when we got back from the restaurant, but ended up staying the night. After we got back from the restaurant we were cuddling on his bed and he fell asleep, then Lina stopped by to see him, then his mom called, and then finally at around 9pm Pam came over, at which point he finally woke up and we started talking. He left after a few minutes to go watch a movie in the common room with the other RA's, and me and Pam ended up talking for 2 hours about me and Scott and her ex boyfreinds. She's really nice
At around midnight we went downstairs to the common room, and I watched the end of Anchorman, and Scott and Pam talked, and then she left and we went to bed at around 1am, and talked till 3am or so. It was really nice to stay up and talk to him, even if we both had to get up early today. So this morning I went straight to work from his place, I had to leave at 7 to make it here by 9am. I really wish he lived closer. The worst part is that it takes 30-45 minutes going west to get to his place from mine by car, but at least 2 hours by bus and metro. I hate public transport. The routes are so screwed up, I have to go east for half an hour to catch the bus that goes west to his place, and pass by just north of my place on the way there. Arg!
I'm starting to worry about my cats, it's been 5 days now that I've been gone and I'm not sure I left them enough food and water, and then there's the litterbox... Oh well I'm sure they'll survive anyways, they're alley cats. If worse comes to worse, there's always the jars under the kitchen sink to collect the water dripping from the pipe. So they have water for sure, and the food bag is always open, I keep it in a cupboard with no door under the counter so they can knock it over and eat from it if need be, they've done that before.
Next weekend I'm going with Scott to buy him an awesome t-shirt, literally
It has something like "it's great being this awesome" written on it lol. He really is an awesome guy though. Sigh...
I'll have to take a picture of him with it too. I should have taken pictures of all of us when we went to the restaurant, that would have been really nice, but I didn't think of it (for once! lol). I'm gonna go with him to Christelle's place for d&d on Sunday after church too, I haven't seen her in forever, and I want to see what her new apartment looks like too. Scott was telling me about their game too, it sounded like a lot of fun
Lol maybe I'll bring some alcohol and be the barmaid
I can't wait to get home tonight, I have to take care of my cats and shower and do laundry. And go to bed really early!
