Kingdom Or Kingdoms

The people who had once aligned themselves with Christianity had no access to scripture for centuries. The books had become the property of the gentile churches who controlled the narrative within their institutions, promoting their own dogma, theology, and ritual instead of the simple knowledge of the Gospel of the Kingdom. A gospel that would have condemned those institutions for pursuing self interest rather than promoting the Kingdom/governance of God. Self proclaimed representatives making God back over into our own image and forming governments in our image, not His, resembling all governments of man, past and present.

Once those books fell into the hands of the people, they saw the conflict between God's word and the institutions. They became aware of the hypocrisy of institutions promoting dogma. Dogma in whatever form simply means do not question what we say, whereas the scripture said to follow the will of the Father only. For refusing to follow dogma many were called heretics and paid the price, most often with their lives. That in itself should have been a red flag.

God however, no doubt used the gentile church to move scripture forward to a time when it could become the property of the people, just as it had been in the beginning before the gentiles took over. He has a habit of using the selfishness of man against ourselves for His own purposes. And as you know, the Jews were all but eliminated from the Gentile religion, so what would have happened to their books if not carried forward by the blessed are we of the world of self interest? Would they have become antiquities wasting away in basements of museums and universities, relics of some lost movement? Religion has a purpose but few think of that as being a medium to forward scriptural truth, ironically in the hands of self serving man. As Jesus said to Peter, the Father's truth being the foundation of His church, not truths from man.

Now that we have the present to content with, we have to take those books and see how 2000 years of the blind leading the blind have led us away from the Kingdom/governance of God. We must reverse the process rather than defend the institutions that led us to this dilemma. But the governance of man, both secular and religious won't let go without a fight. Guess who will win in the end against them? Until then, it will not happen until the proper gospel is taught to all nations. There is but one God and one Kingdom and it is His, not man's.
