Key 2

Although it was long ago when being fed up with the falsely advertised loyalties of His host people that God no longer dwelled in the Temple, it still remains that entrepreneurs within the various religious institutions would have us believe that we can be in contact with God through them. Along with that, we also have the Adversary who has us believe we are gods. Everybody has a gimmick. Yet of these two, the subtle Adversary is the closest to Jesus' truth in that, although we are not gods as he suggests, God is within each and every one of us and has been since the beginning. It is how we were created as being unique in the world of flesh and matter.

Why is this a threat to both the Adversary and Christianity? It simply eliminates the middle man and leads back to the true Gospel of the Kingdom. The Kingdom is the government of the followers of Jesus. It is not the government(s) of man, be they secular or religious. It doesn't come with positions of wealth or power.

If God is within us, how then can we still live according to the ideals of man and stifle the God within? Choice. God says put His will first but man still prefers to put their own will first while claiming they believe in God, believe in the Messiah. They keep God as an outside force for good and make the Adversary an outside force for evil. It keeps us conveniently free of any personal responsibility or of any recognition of God (or evil) within us. No inner conflict for us if God within is not recognized.

Those living according to the ideals of man are not allowing God within themselves to guide their lives. We, by nature put our will before that of God's. As a result, its all about us and what we want. We often seek gain at the expense of others, dismissing who suffers as a consequence (often thinking what others don't know won't hurt them), thus self justifying our actions by self determining what is good and evil to ease any conscience that we possess. The prime ideal of the Kingdom (which covers all laws given by God and is the will of God for us) is to love all as self. Only those who allow their God side to dominate them will follow this ideal in their hearts, minds and society.

Therefore if we let our God side rule ahead of our own fleshy will, then we have rejected what has been the basis of the traditional self serving ideals of man. If we hate what occurs in the world which results from those self serving ideals, we have rejected the world of man and entered into the ways of the Kingdom. In doing so and having thus repented, we have been born out of our inherent one-sided nature of self and into the nature of the Kingdom that is God. We have become born again. In allowing God within us to guide our lives, we will only seek remission of our old ways. No two ways about it as the saying goes.

Jesus (unlike the gentile church) taught of the division between world of man and of the Kingdom. James said it best regarding our adulterous relationship with the world of man. A relationship we have while God within us sits idly by. James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

He taught that without even using outright rebellion against the worldly, that we could convert from flesh to spirit. Without abandoning our fleshy nature of self, we are but chaff, an irritable part of the complete plant. Allowing God within us to guide us in ways contrary to the ideals of man, we could simply change how we lived and what we believed, done in accordance with relinquishing our self will to the will of God within us.

Recognizing as Jesus taught, that neither God nor evil are outside of us we need only look within to change ourselves into beings fitting of the Kingdom. Will the world of man love you as a result? They will hate your refusal to play by their rules, but the God within even them will recognize the good that you do. That being the example set by not hurting anyone, by treating friend and foe equally as a fellow sinner. Kind of like a human example of not the new age but the old unworldly Red Cross. It was recognized as non-threatening and helpful to all sides, even in a war. Perhaps in recognition of that good within, the door will be opened for those who mock to instead embrace the God within.

Knowing that God resides in all of us waiting to be activated and allowed to thrive, can we look at anyone who is still of the world and not see them for whom they too have lying dormant within? Is there any way to awaken that dormant spirit of God within them... other than demanding allegiance to a religion or beating them over the head with tracts and the like?

Look at the current political landscape. Do any seem to represent loving neighbour as self? Do any of their followers do so, Christian and secular alike? Yet do not all and each of them have the same potential as you to awaken God within and change who they are and what they stand for? Jesus thought so.

We are not God, but God is us. Jesus, the Son of God is God come to us in the flesh to tell us in person that not only was He watching over us but was within all of us (and you wonder how God knows what is in your heart?). His ways are those of the Kingdom to come, He is the Kingdom, and His fleshy Son will be King in the Kingdom to come, King over the flesh that recognizes and sets free the God within and lives according to His spirit.

As Jesus said, repent and seek remission of your fleshy self born of water. Recognize who you are. The ideals of the world which man has created will fall away along with the scales upon your eyes. Then spread His Gospel, the good news of the Kingdom into the world.

Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
