There's one thing important in life
One thing, to keep in mind
Regardless of cost, problems, strife
Jesus! we need to find
He's God, Life, Truth, He's Heaven's Way
He's Christ, God's Word, God's Son
Life's living Rock, Life's endless Day
Salvation! all in One
Of this! most people are unaware
Ignorant as can be
Too selfish, bound too bothered to care
Too deaf, unable to see
Yet God still loves, still cares for all
What shameful deed we do
With heart, with soul, when Heaven we call
Jesus, can help us through
For this! Christ came, as Lamb to die
Though man laughed Him to scorn
As Life's King, Jesus rose on high
As if, to be reborn
A sign! to those lost and weary
What Heaven can achieve
Not stories, lie, , nor theory
If childlike, we believe
God's Word, on each biblical roll
God's Word, in heart and ear
God's power to heal our soul
Man's foolish doubt disappear
One thing only. one deed to do
Only one to be sure
Bid Jesus Christ come to help you
Find, LIFE'S ETERNAL DOOR ......
