Hello all, I love blogging, but I've never really had anyone read my blogs, its just great to write my feelings out, and inspire people( thats my favorite part, i just love reaching out)
So for those of you tuning in to my blog for the first time, Hello, My name's Kora, I'm 18, and I really hope you enjoy reading my blog.
As I mentioned before, I love blogging, so I'm going to link( if i can) my blog/tumblr at a later time.
I am in a greatful/thankful mood today, and I guess I just wanted to chat about that.
Alright so I've been very lucky especially lately, The lord has been very gracious to me and my family and its great. But I'm realising that I am not being the servant I should be and maybe you have too?, scripture has been telling me that trials and the like are tools to help with the growth of faith, but I'm not being tested which makes me wonder If I've really been with the spirit as of lately. hence the entry today.
I'm going to be using verses from James 1
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
As the above verse talks about, take joy in the struggles, this is one of the most difficult things for me i guess, because it's so hard to be joyful when things are getting tough. And so the important thing is seeing that light at the end of the tunnel, and remembering something good will come out of it, and if you couldn't handle it, God wouldn't put you through it.
Well, guess thats it for now, if you have any recomendations on what you want me to blog about, let me know, I'm open to ideas my friends
