Jesus, I am learning a little something from YOU ! It's time to get ready for You to MOVE ME into the favor that You promise ME ! I'm so damn tired of the spirits of offense, rejection and grief comin' along, just at the 'right' time to take my joy away for a ride down memory lane, to ponders of yesterday or to wishes for tomorrow. what about now? what about today?.... down the lane of past love and dead love and old love and NO LOVE and self-abusive toxic love and geeze "I sure do know how to lip-service you love" and ...so on and so on and so on... what about ANOINTED love from above? from YOUR Hand through YOUR vessels...what about now? Being Your vessel for Your purposes?
well, where the hell is MINE, anyway? I KNOW that it IS comin,' Lord. Because I HAVE BEEN in this LINE an awfully LONG TIME. I must be marchin' up on the front of that line soon. How far off could mine BE, anyway?
Like my friend, B, at work says," You can't hand stuff to Him and keep on takin' it on back ! Leave it in the offering plate, now !" as she wags her finger at me. then, there's L, who comes by with that thick Parisian accent and takes my hand and kisses it and challenges A, whose looking neglected, to a verbal joust to get us all laughing...... G, she brought me sweet treats from her Hindi bag of goodies this morning... And, M, he wants to be reassured that I still love him, and he offers me kindness EVERY day !... and then, there's K & M who fight over me in the sweetest l'il ole cockfights I ever DID see... and N, he wants to walk me to the bathroom just to get a private word... and A, he wants me to leave him some candy today.... because I had to head off to another department and he says it broke his heart, so please leave him two candies... and B, she pouted when I left, too.... and P, he is praying for Teknon and T and Hubbs and, imagine, meeeeeee too. See, it's comin'.... the front of the line for blessings and favor, it's gonna get here one day, for me and for you...because we are children of THE King. We serve UP love and You keep us filled to the brim for offering more to others. You need to help me back into the River, Jesus. Put on d'flow, Lordy, do ! Alleluia.
