While we occupy this land where ever we each may be, love seems to be common among us all. So which is it, do we seek out love or does it seek to find us? Could it be both? Many questions, many outcomes! While we serve a God of love, He made sure to set us a good, no! Great example of love sweetly summarized in John 3:16 (we all know it!)
Isn't God amazing! And yet a lot of the times we may forget and look for things that may very well not be realistic of love and get ourselves hurt in the process (I do not exclude myself from this). And while it may hurt to not receive love while we are giving, we must still love honestly and truly knowing that our reward, our greatest reward is more than what man can give. God sees and knows our hearts. Be vigilant for this is also a spiritual battle... Do you think the devil wants you to be happy? No! Broken and weak and loosing faith is where he sets his traps, and we are easily prey.
Sometimes we beg for "love" from the wrong people and things that may very well not be worth it.
Yes!! We all have that desire: to belong, to feel wanted, needed, appreciated, to feel like our lives have purpose...and the list can continue. However, I'd like to say that on the way to finding such fulfillment.. We must first look within ourselves and trust God has not left us stranded in that area.
God in His infinite wisdom is there with a helping hand, in our quest to find love, know that our amazing God of love is seeking us. (Put Him first)!!
So while we battle with all these temptations and thoughts of "I'm not where I should be in life" know that you serve the author of time
