Danger rages everywhere
Hazards are common place
Demonic threats beyond compare
Naive countless embrace
Where one comes from, where one may go
May choose on earth to stay
Devils wandering to and fro
Devious! will come our way
With slings and arrows, eyes concealed
Intentions hidden well
Innocence on life's battle field
Too often end in hell
Thanks be to God for Jesus Christ
Lord of my life today
Whom my God and Father sacrificed
My shame to take away
Yours too! if life's your desire
From death you wish to flee
Escape hell's eternal fire
With Heaven's royal decree
Walk following! life's Saviour
Let Christ, take the lead
Change your ways your behaviour
Let God's Son be your shield
Walk beside Him, take His hand
Invite Him rule inside
Allowing Him teach, to understand
