Salvation has a robe for me
A robe of liquid light
The bible says it’s all for free
It states there black on white
God has a robe for you there too
It’s written here the same
There’s nothing left for you to do
But trust in Jesus’ name
I’ve read it all, the book’s so clear
It’s plain for all to see
If we but call; it says right here
God comes to you and me
I called to God beside my bed
I said if You be true
Confirm in me, the things I’ve read
Come save and make me new
I heard the voice from God above
I heard Him clearly say
“I’ve come to you with all my love
I’ve come my child to stay”
I heard in truth; the living God
I heard! I tell no lie
I heard, though some may think it odd
I know I’ll never die
We have; in Christ, a robe to wear
I know the bible’s true
God has so much He wants to share
With me my friend and you
So why not try like me right now
I’ve told you what to say
No need to kneel or even bow
