I've come back to a place where I think I started theologically, but I've added a dim

As I am still in search of a church which bases its believe on God's word. As in I am standing on this Rock my Lord and Saviour and I will not budge.

I have heard so many comments from devout Catholics who can not comprehend my christian view.
My statement that I am standing on His Word is being misconstrued and misunderstood.

Standing on God's word does not make you your own Pope. It is having deep faith in His Word.
According to scripture: this is all I will need in my life and HE will see me through.

I was raised as a roman catholic, baptized, holy communion and confirmation. According to Catholicism. As I grew as a christian I needed more, as so many of us Catholics do.
This is our catholic creed, or Nicene Creed:
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and Earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, Light from Light, True God of God, Begotten and not made; consubstantial with the father: by Whom all things are made. Who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven.
And was Incarnated by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary: And was made Man.
He was crucified also for us, suffered under Pontius Pilatus, and was buried. And on the third day he rose according to the scriptures. And he ascended into heaven. He sit-teth to the right hand of the Father.
And he shall come again with Glory to judge the living and the dead: of Whose Kingdom there shall be no end.
And in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life: Who preceedeth from the Father and the Son. Who
together with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified: Who spoke through the prophets. And in one, Holy catholic and apostolic Church, I confess one Baptism for the remission of sins. And I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Beautiful and I do agree. I just do not believe in the man made doctrines.

To me God is Personal, One, Spirit, Eternal,Sovereign, All Powerful, Perfect and Holy

Sin came from man, lawlessness, deliberate rebellion against God.
Man, debased, Defiled, Defiant

Jesus is The Saviour, Sin Bearer, He is the Way the Truth and Life (he is the only way to the Father)

So here I am, with the deep rooted catholic belief and in search of answers. The only way I can satisfy my constant need for Christian nourishment is reading His WORD. Not at a sermon. Even some of the better teachings are long winded and lost in translation. Some lack the enthusiasm of God's intent.
Remember I do not go to church for the theatrical show nor the fanfare, simply stick to the Word and let it sink in. May be we are not giving GOD enough credit, do we really think we can explain it better than him? Is his Word not self sufficient?

I also believe in the outburst of the holy spirit of the congregation in words or song, at any given time during a mass. And it does not matter where one sits in Church. You have got to know that God is all knowing and He knows what is in your heart before you do as well as where you are. If the Holy Spirit does descend it will not matter where you sit or stand: It will reach you.
I actually had a preacher get mad at me for not coming to the altar. It just was not for me.

I have been thrown out of two churches thus far. Not due to personal misbehavior, but because I questioned the interpretation of His Word by the minister.
One was because the pointing out of Catholics and Negroes would not make it to heaven.
The other was that I questioned a preacher's teachings on the Holy Spirit; only giving a man three chances to find salvation or be blessed with the Holy Spirit otherwise lost forever. I wanted to find out where I could find this man to give him the Good News. The preacher advised me never to question him again. His congregation was never to question him. What Bible is he preaching from?

Hello people!!! Is this not what one is to do as a Christian? Teach his Word and do so with the intent to teach and save souls?

We need to read and study the WORD so that you know for yourself what the bible states. You are not dumb! You will understand it and as you read on, God will reveal scriptures to you which prior to that particular day made no sense to you at all.

I can attest to this. I also can not live with out my daily scriptural reading. It is like food for my soul.
