Great storms may rise great winds may blow
Life and limb may sever
Kingdoms may come kingdoms may go
Christ endures forever
Eternal God eternal King
Upon life’s throne above
Forever creation will sing
His victory songs of love
What does this mean today on earth?
Where will this Kingdom be?
Through Jesus’ death through second birth
Such miracles we’ll see
We’ll see because of Heaven’s grace
Through love’s eternal law
Through Jesus’ blood we’ll see God’s face
Beyond salvation’s door
Ceaseless, will Jesus Kingdom stand
Endless love’s sweet refrain
Upheld by God’s almighty hand
Interminable to reign
While earthly kingdoms boast their slaves
Though death roams free as guest
Through Christ; there’ll be no stinking graves
No end to those God’s blessed
Breathtaking joy awaits His queen
Laughter, pleasures galore
No ear has heard nor has eye seen
Such goodness yet in store
There is no need on earth to die
Seek Jesus’ face above
Live for that place reserved on high
